|2012 Turkey Trip||Niagara Foundation organizes dialogue trips to Turkey as another means of building bridges and strengthening friendships among different cultures. Though hailing from different cultural backgrounds, we find common ground through our travels in which we share the same dining table. The Wisconsin community is presented with the opportunity to network with the new, lifelong friends as a way of strengthening even further our commitment to a global ethic of dialogue and mutual understanding.
Our itinerary includes several cities such as Istanbul. Ankara, Izmir, Capadocia, Konya, Kayseri, Sanliurfa. Each city has its own historical and cultural places to visit. The Wisconsinites generally spend a week with our experienced guides and visit five or six different cities. Our guests also have a chance to share the dinner with Turkish families in each city and directly interact with Turkish people.
