SCIENCE ACADEMY OF CHICAGO

Science Academy of Chicago (SAC) is the second educational endeavor of the Niagara Foundation. The first was Niagara Educational Center which was established as a tutoring center in 1997 in Chicago. Three years later Science Academy of Chicago opened its doors to anyone who wanted to receive an excellent education.

One goal of the Niagara Foundation is to make a difference in the educational field and SAC is the embodiment of that goal. SAC fully prepares students to meet the challenges of the 21st century by setting firm goals based on individual assessment. The faculty is committed to each student. Faculty and student interaction is part of everyday life at SAC. The students and teachers are like a family and it's not unusual to see the students eating pizza with their teachers in a mall on Sunday or being visited by teachers when they are sick.

The Niagara Foundation realizes that many students lack even the most basic math and science skills. Parents who choose SAC acknowledge similar concerns and have encouraged us to enhance and publicize our unique approach. There is a great need for a private college preparatory elementary school with special emphasis on math and science education. The Niagara Foundation has sought to meet that need in Chicago.
