The 1st Annual Interfaith Dialogue Dinner - Comments
November 13, 2003

This is well planned thought out and organized event. The diverse thought on a common theme was deeply informative.
Walter L. Mays

Nice program. Thank you for your generosity-future programs- might have a more specific focus. Also youth programs would be a good idea.
Marcia Hermansen, Ph.D.
Loyola University

Very inspirational evening! How might people of faith move and act to achieve justice throughout the world? How do we go beyond dialog?
Theodore C. Rojahn

Great Program! The program was well organized and all the speakers seem to be on accord with their messages. The general theme was “Unity”. Even though the speakers were of different faiths, unity was still the common theme. Differences are not meant to be reason to be separate, but grounds to unite and learn.

This is my first time to come to this kind of event. I must say I appreciate the diversity, color and different religions come together and try to make peace and try to give message to other religion with one goal to become one and come together to whatever is your belief. Thank you for having me.
Girley Espino

I have never seen gathering of such diversity as well as interaction between people.
Suhail Khan

I enjoyed the evening very much. It was good to see old friends and make new friends. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

The evening was an inspiring delight. The goodwill and professionalism with which the event was organized was most impressive. It is clear that Niagara will make a substantial contribution to interfaith dialog here in Chicago.
Scott Alexander
Associate Professor of Muslim Studies at Catholic theological Union

Thank you very much for the chance to participate in this evening. I enjoyed all the speeches very thought provoking. I hope we can spread the message we learned tonight to our communities of religions and perhaps more importantly to our neighbors, co-workers, families…
Kyoji John Schuh

I enjoyed the evening very much. I wish you more success in your endeavors.

Excellent from Au aspects: Well conceived great speakers, nice environment. Good company and food came well warmed.
Vesna Zafirovski

The opportunity to both near and see in practice how interfaith individuals can share and enjoy each other’s company was worth inspiring and rewarding.
Rev. Jeff G. Gavin.

Excellent meal! Good opportunity to meet new people from diverse religious traditions. This is a good place to start, but dialogue must be accompanied by interfaith action around our shared concerns.
